and life insurance.The two main positions that are most frequently
available are for either a legal assistant or an administrative
assistant.
Legal Assistant - Full-Time
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required. Outstanding academic
record. Creative, responsible, detail oriented outgoing self-starter
possessing excellent computer, writing, research, and communication
skills. Previous legal experience helpful, but not necessary.
Two year minimum commitment requested.
Responsibilities: Duties will include the preparation
and filing of employment related immigration documentation and
communications with government agencies as well as extensive
research and writing on behalf of our clients. Case management
of client files. Frequent and direct contact with international
clientele predominately working for biomedical, university, and
high technology employers.
Salary commensurate with experience. We also take
volunteer jobs, summer jobs, and school-related activities into
account when determining salary.

Administrative Assistant - Full-Time
You will be the right-hand person to support 2-3 associate attorneys.
Qualifications required include communication skills - both oral & written,
transcription, advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
products in Windows environment, also database experience, ability
to initiate projects, ability to handle several projects at once,
work efficiently & independently, good time-management skills.
You will also manage the attorneys' calendars and interact with
our international clientele. You may also act as the "face" of
the office. Many of our clients only have telephone contact with
our office and we seek a multi-tasking individual for managing
our phones as well as clients who visit our office. Previous
legal experience helpful, but not necessary. One to three years
related experience or training preferred.
